One of the dangers of becoming close with a student is allowing them too much latitude to explore boundaries and try out new philosophies, ideals and in more simpler terms “flex their muscles.” Unfortunately, some times during this process they forget that there is still a teacher/student relationship as well as an adult/teen interconnection that needs to be respected.
